Later today I will be going down to the forests in the Great Southern region on a writing retreat and my second novel is only a month or two away! :-) High Tide Low Tide is set in Western Australia from the mid-1970s to the mid-1980s and is a story of life choices. Choices that help shape a person’s destiny as well as the lives of their loved ones. It is a narrative about social drinking, alcohol and how addiction can have an impact on relationships. Binge drinking is quite topical at the moment (see Shaun Micallef's 'On The Sauce'). And so - ‘Into the forest I go to lose my mind and find my soul.’ (John Muir) :-)
